About the photo and the film:

I decided to do a studio still life because I get home so late that all the good light is gone; also no one does any. The film is Plus-X shot at 125 expired in 2001, this film came to me from last years Expired Film Day from Dan Schneider. The film was processed in D-76 full strength; camera used was my oldest Nikon the “F” or “Old Man” using a 50mm lens. About the photo; my Mom had this ceramic napkin holder for as long as I remember; after she passed I kept the ones that I liked the most. The film captured the light & mid tones well; I’ve noticed that dark tones get muddy fast with expired film.
