About the photo and the film:
The overexposure and heavy contrast of this negative obscures the fact that the foreground puddle was largely still and calm, while the ocean water just across the rocks was being whipped up into large, choppy waves by the strong winds. Contax RTS Fundus, Carl Zeiss Distagon 35/2.8, Kodak Tri-X bulk-rolled by somebody somewhere, once upon an unknown time. Processed in Caffenol-C-H @ 20C, 15 minutes. Scanned with Minolta Scan Dual III.
