About the photo and the film:

Lucky for me EFD turned out to be a very sunny day, perfect for an extended photowalk. I loaded a roll of Kodak Kodacolor VR Plus 100 (exp. 12/2000) in my Nikon FE2 and rated it as EI 50 to compensate for the age. I strolled through the gardens of Charlottenburg Palace when the sun on the bridge railing caught my eye. The strong blue of the water, the yellowed reeds and the first green grass together with the sun on the railing all combined into this great blend of colors. I used my Nikkor 50 mm f/1.8 AI-S and focused on the bridge railing setting the aperture to F/2.8 with a shutter speed of 1/250 s. I send the film to MeinFilmLab and it was developed using their standard C41 procedure (no push/pull) and scanned on a Fuji SP-3000
