About the photo and the film:

I used a Dremel and glue to modify 120 spools to allow me to put 35mm film in my Hasselblad 500cm. I then took expired Kodak GC 400 (I think from around 2006) and shot it at 100 ISO on Sunday, 17 March. I had the film developed locally. I “scanned” the film with my Nikon D750 and Nikon Micro 55mm 3.5 and processed the color in Adobe Lightroom with the amazing Negative Lab Pro plugin. In this particular photograph, I enjoy how the dark, out-of-focus trees/bushes frame the photo, pushing your eye to the tree and gate beyond. I also like the orange Kodak data in the midst of the green.
