About the photo and the film:

In Sematan, Sarawak, a man-made shack modestly marks nature, leaving this shore-side hut in harmony with its surroundings. One of many stilted huts along the shore, this is owned by a fisherman who’s daily bread relies on good tide and a sealed boat. I wanted to test the dynamic range of this expired emulsion to see if there would much difference from a fresh roll. I am still pleasantly surprised!
