About the photo and the film:

Saw these awesome shiny sneakers in a shop window on my way home and had to shoot them. Shot with a Minolta X-700 and a 50 mm f/1.7 lens (wide open). The film used was made in a country that doesn’t exist anymore: ORWO NP 20, made in East Germany and expired in August 1991. It’s an ISO 80 film, so you can’t really overexpose it if you want to keep this pretty slow film usable. The film shows strong grain in low light situations (as seen in this particular photo) and medium contrast in general. Love to see the looks of the guys at my lab when I’m bringing them another roll of this old cheddar.
