About the photo and the film:

I want to say it was intentional to have only the geese in focus here, but that would be lying, so how about a happy accident? Shooting handheld at ASA-64, early in the morning created some narrow depth-of-field in many shots, but several turned out well, but this one, because of the strange composition and shallow DOF made it stand out. Mind you; it took three days under the heaviest book in my library before it could be scanned. Nikon F90, AF Nikkor 50mm 1:1.4D, Kodak TMax 100 (Expired mid-1990s) rated at ASA-64 processed in Pyrocat-HD (1+1+100) for 9 minutes at 27C.
